The Dunes is set in a evocative fantasy world where political powers are at war, and our heroes become the fall-guys for a top-level assassination. Racing to save their lives and their reputations, they stumble upon giant mechanical creatures which give them awesome powers, but with a terrible cost…

The Dunes is an in-development game title: beginning its life as a research project into using game storytelling to educate and create empathy in players. The research investigated how to take elements of 'serious games' and make it just... a game. (A good game!) While still achieving 'serious' goals.
